FLOW’s primary aim is to equip young people with the practical tools needed to grow in capacity and maximise potential.
We do this by using theories from positive psychology and behavioural economics to create fun and interactive learning curriculums that help children, parents and teachers implement the principles of FLOW in their everyday lives.
FLOW desires to create an acceptance and understanding within the minds of young individuals about who they are, what their strengths are, and the opportunities available at their disposal.Values
From our research, we understand that while young people have an adequate understanding and perception of moral values and responsibilities, they do not possess the associated commitment to live them out.
The ‘challenge to commit’ is usually hinged on social perceptions and these young people being regarded as outcasts i.e., uncool.
At FLOW, we aim to help them develop an extensive commitment to moral values and responsibilities – the goal is to make it part of their nature.Mindsets
At FLOW, we are cognizant of the effect that children’s mindsets can have on their development and future. We believe that every child should have a Growth Mindset where they believe that their talents and abilities are continually developed through passion and persistence, as opposed to a fixed mindset where children believe they have a certain amount of talent and nothing can be done to improve on it.
Therefore, we have designed activities that are tailored to ensure that children can develop and maintain a growth mindset as this is key to their future success.Goals
Goal setting is vital for young people because it gives them a sense of purpose that improves their confidence and builds their self-esteem and we have designed activities that will assist children to make and set the right goals.
Similarly, it helps them focus and make better decisions. When young people set goals, it keeps them accountable for every action or steps they take. At FLOW, we are aware of the potential impact goal setting can have on the lives of young people.

Our FLOW Clubs are available both during school hours, after school hours and during the holidays with the aim of giving kids the tools they need to thrive in all aspects of life.
